He is the reigning Vice Bundeschampion of the five-year-old show jumpers and the “winner of hearts”: Fantastic rounds, which were awarded grades of up to 9.5, brought Cashmere the latest coup of his brilliant career in August 2020 in Warendorf. This means that Cashmere, always a real “high-flyer”, remains true to its line.

Cashmere has always had a special place in the hearts of all Gut Neuenhof employees. A few hours after his birth in 2015, the mother mare Novice died - but the neighboring mare Labelle “adopted” Cashmere without further ado. The meteoric rise of the lively bay began only a few years later: Reserve Champion Stallion at the Westphalia licensing in 2017, HLP sport test I in Verden with the final score of 8.65, and finally the acclaimed Vice Bundeschampion. In addition, there is Cashmere's special double disposition: So far, he has not only placed in riding horse tests several times, but was also rewarded with a grade of 8.14 for dressage disposition in the 14-day test in Neustadt / Dosse. An all-rounder!

Best Holstein blood: Cashmere comes from the Holstein line 1094, which has so far produced 20 licensed sons. This line, which has been secured over generations, is now being carried on by his offspring, with considerable success for their part: In his first foal crop, all foals presented themselves with very good basic gaits and received multiple awards.

The sire Cristallo I has shown extraordinary versatility himself. The mother Novice previously brought with Caretino the licensed son Carento, who was successful at the Bundeschampionat and who in turn was able to set himself a monument with the Bundeschampion Caressini, as well as Carento's full sister, the Bundeschampionat fifth Gut Neuenhof's Cantate, and the S-successful Capriole 38 as a full sibling of Cashmere as well as the Westphalian jumping champion mare Cristalies, who in turn delivered the vice-Westphalian champion Gut Neuenhof Columbo. Novice’s full sisters Kamanjola and Mordela were also stallion mothers and produced the licensed sons Coco Jambo (PB Oldbg.) And Le Champ Ask (licensing winner 2008). High fertility is firmly anchored in this mare family: Their mother, Bordela, produced 13 foals, seven of which were placed in Klaase S.

The dam's sire Contender, who won his stallion performance test, was one of the most established sires in Germany: his offspring include 127 licensed sons and 427 successful advanced level sport horses. Contender's offspring winnings have now broken the fabulous 10 million euro mark. With Lorenz, Cor de la Bryère, Rigoletto and Attila, there are four half-bred stallions in direct succession in the falling trunk, which characterizes the high nobility of this line.

Cashmere comes from the Holstein line 1094, which has so far produced 20 licensed stallions, including Beethoven (CZE), Carambole (NED), Chromat (PB Hess.), Cornet de Lux (PB Hann.), Feldjunge (PB SAnh.), Lacado (USA), Latano I (BEL), Latano II (USA), Niarchos (Holst. Verb.) And Quick Fire (PB Holst., Internat. SPR re. With Markus Brinkmann).
