Last weekend the Westphalian Championships took place in Münster-Handorf. Here, too, a daughter of Escolar shone with her new rider.
Lara-Pinou Baumgürtel and her 7-year-old ZINQ Escalla OLD FH had another success in their still young career. On the occasion of the Westphalian Youth Championships, the Escolar – Dimaggio daughter, bred by Maike Hinrichsen, underlined her impressive form and won the first competition with 71.622 percent. Also in the 2nd competition, an international dressage test of the medium class, the victory was not to be taken away. With 74.342 percent they won clearly ahead of the runners-up. In the final freestyle, Lara-Pinou and the 2021 Young Dressage Horse World Championships participant ZINQ Escalla OLD FH once again demonstrated their strong form and dominated the entire starting field with 79.208 percent. This meant victory in the Championships and thus gold in the 2022 Westphalian Junior Championships.
