Beauty of type, high performance, dual disposition and the blood of the legendary Ladykiller xx: this is what Lyjano stands for. With his dual talent and modern appearance, Lyjano inspires connoisseurs of sport and breeding. The past season proved that he lives up to the high expectations: Lyjano not only collected victories and placings in medium (M) level tests for young show jumpers and top marks of up to 8.5 on the course; he also easily qualified for the Bundeschampionat for 5-year-old German show jumpers and for the World Championships for Young Horses in Lanaken. He also passed his sport test in Münster-Handorf with a final score of 8.54 and individual scores of 8.6 for ability, rideability and canter.
Genetically anchored performance
The Lyjanero son already shone in the spring of 2022 with a very good sport test in Verden, which earned him scores in the good 8 range without exception. Impressive proof of the versatile talents of this stallion. Lyjano is not only uncomplicated to handle and easy to ride and relaxed in everyday dressage work; he also impresses on the show jumping course with his excellent overview at the jump and unlimited ability. He carries the blood of the line founder Ladykiller xx twice, sire Lyjanero was reserve champion at the Holsteiner licensing in 2010 and can now look back on six licensed sons and numerous offspring with successes up to advanced level. Dam Wiloma III was bred to dressage sire Johnson and produced DG Holland, who was successful in dressage up to advanced (S***) level. Thanks to the thoroughbred content of 43.46 percent, Lyjano is also recommended for breeders who want to freshen up the bloodlines of their mares.

Lyjano completed his 14-day test as a 3-year-old in Adelheidsdorf. In March 2022, he impressed judges, third-party riders and the licensing commission of the Hannvoeraner Verband on the occasion of his FN sport test for 4-year-old stallions in Verden with consistently good performances in all criteria.
During the 2023 season, Lyjano collected victories and placings in medium (M) level tests for young show jumpers and top scores of up to 8.5 on the show jumping course. He also qualified for the German Bundeschampionat and the World Championships for young show jumpers in Lanaken without any problems. Lyjano carries the important blood of Ladykiller xx twice in his pedigree, which once had such a decisive influence on Holstein breeding, but is becoming increasingly rare today. We appreciate the bloodline of this young stallion all the more, as it offers our breeders the chance to profit from the well-proven “L-blood”.
Lyjano’s sire Lyjanero, who was awarded the first Reserve Champion Stallion at the Holstein licensing in Neumünster in 2010, now has six licensed sons and a large number of successful offspring up to advanced (S) level.
The genetics of the dam’s side of this youngster are also extraordinary: Goodtimes produced several top athletes, including horses with strong movements. This is proven by Lyjano’s dam Wiloma III: In a mating with Johnson she produced DG Holland, who was successful in dressage up to advanced (S**) level. This shows the double disposition that is also so impressively recognisable in Lyjano himself.
The connection to the thoroughbred sire legends Ladykiller xx and Lucky Boy xx rounds off the pedigree of this typey young stallion. With a thoroughbred percentage of 43.36 percent, he stands for ambition, elegance and sportiness and is also an ideal match for mares that benefit from refinement.
