Gut Neuenhof’s Columbo competed very successfully in show jumping competitions for young horses as a four-year-old in 2015, winning no less than seven novice class show jumping competitions alone. In 2016, he qualified for the Bundeschampionat under Christian Kukuk with an 8.3 in Hagen and under Tadahiro Hayashi with an 8.6 in Münster. He was runner-up at the Westphalian Championships for five-year-old show jumpers.
