The sires of the Gut Neuenhof stallion station were omnipresent in the results lists at the German Foal Championships in Lienen. An overview.
For example, Gut Neuenhof’s top sire Escolar produced the reserve winner of the dressage colts, Escamour J, who is registered with the Oldenburg Verband. The “J” stands for breeder Vera Jürgens, who had selected Escolar for her elite and state premium mare Heiderose by San Amour-De Niro. The result of this mating received consistent scores of 9.0 and better in all criteria from all three groups of judges, including three times 9.5 for type.
Envy outperforms all
Among the fillies, Escolar was the only foal to receive a 10 for movement from all three groups of judges. The wonderful Oldenburg chestnut mare goes by the name of Envy, is out of a Desperados dam and was bred by Arndt Schwierking and exhibited in Lienen. She came fourth overall out of the 30 participants.
Gold Garant again and again
In recent years, Bundeschampion Gold Garant and his offspring have been convincing across the board. This was also the case this year. With six fillies and three colts that were recommended for the German Foal Championships, he was one of the best-represented stallions on the Lienen triangular track.
No fewer than four of the ten top fillies were sired by Gold Garant. One of these was the reserve champion, Grace de Luxe B, registered in Westphalia and bred by Dietmar Boom in Legden. Gold Garant met Cara by Neuenhaus, a Caramel-Heidbergs Nancho Nova daughter. The same applied to Grace de Luxe: not a single score below 9.0.
Fourth place went to Terbofen’s Gold Lady II by Gold Garant-Dimension AT from the Weser Ems breed of ZG Reichel-Terbofen. Only half a point behind in fifth place was the Weser Ems-bred mare Nonstop Josie H by Bianca Heinemann. Gold Garant-Dance Delight. Sixth place was also taken by a daughter of Gold Garant, Gwendolyn HS by Gold Garant-FS Golden Highlight, bred in Bavaria by Dr. Rupprecht Betz.
The best Gold Garant colt was the fourth-placed Gregory Peck bred by Nadine Schnell. The Westphalian pony has an A New Star-Davidoff ox dam.
