The Caressini children are convincing. The Hanoverian premium prospect Capri recently caused a sensation at the Verden online auction.
The equally powerful and supple jumping gray mare Capri by Caressini was the most expensive jumping offering at the Verden online auction at 44,000 euros. Heike Köhne-Wolfert had bred the gray mare, born in 2020, out of her Diacontinus daughter Dialalu. The line behind her is that of Gotenprobe, which has produced numerous advanced (S) level show jumpers as well as Grand Prix dressage horses. In Capri’s case, it was not only at the auction that the mating of this bloodline to Caressini proved to be a good fit.
The beautifully presented mare was awarded a 1b premium at the Herwart von der Decken show in 2023. She already demonstrated under saddle what she promises in free jumping at her broodmare test, where her ability and jumping intelligence were awarded “very good”. Her first competitions were also successful with victories and placings in tests for young show jumpers.
The career of this Caressini daughter looks set to continue. Her new owner sponsors a German Nations Cup rider.
Caressini inspires across all associations
The Westphalian Studbook also recognizes the quality of Caressini offspring. Carina by Caressini-Cristallo, bred by Gestüt Gut Neuenhof, recently completed an outstanding mare performance test in which she received fantastic scores for both her dressage and jumping ability: 8.7 for jumping ability and 8.0 for dressage. She has been admitted to the Westphalian Elite Show on August 1st in Münster-Handorf.
