We already described Nikan's Diamond as our greatest sporting hope in last year's stallion catalogue. In 2023, he lived up to this title: with a final score of 8.72, he completed an excellent sport test in Münster-Handorf. The judges not only awarded the eye-catching chocolate chestnut an 8.7 for canter and an 8.9 for rideability, but also a dream score of 9.0 for his jumping ability. The typey stallion has also established himself in show jumping with successes in tests for young show jumpers in keeping with his age. This elegantly presented Kannan son thus recommends himself as an outstanding athlete - and with top-class genetics.
Popular Freiminka strain and top sire combined
Nikan's Diamond is an eye-catcher not only because of his dark chestnut jacket, but especially because of his long-legged, athletic conformation. He thus remains true to his family: dam Maraminka has already collected successes up to Nations Cup level under the name Minka's Diamond and has already produced three offspring with international successes up to advanced level. She comes from the highly successful Freiminka line, which also produced our internationally sought-after sire Cordess, for example. Sire Kannan is the only stallion to have been consistently in the top positions in the WBFSH stallion rankings since 2010. He has already been honoured twice as the best sire worldwide for young show jumpers. Nikan's Diamond thus combines performance blood and hereditary reliability secured over generations.

Anyone looking for a top athlete of the future will find what they are looking for here. Nikan's Diamond combines breeding progress and flawlessly proven genetics. Added to this are the best rideability values, correct conformation and willingness to perform - in other words, everything we expect from a sire. We are certain that a star of international calibre is maturing here.
Nikan's Diamond passed his disposition test in Adelheidsdorf in 2021 with a final score of 8.35 for jumping and was subsequently licensed by the Hanoverian Verband. In 2022, the now mature stallion completed his sport test in Münster-Handorf and finished with a final score of 8.52. His excellent rideability was particularly noticeable and was awarded a score of 9.0 by the judges.
In 2023, Nikan's Diamond crowned this development for the time being: With a final score of 8.72, he completed an excellent sport test in Münster-Handorf. In his first competition starts in age-appropriate tests for young show jumpers, the stallion showed strong nerves and a willingness to perform and has already collected his first successes.
The pedigree of this young stallion reads like a summit meeting of international show jumping greats. Sire Kannan stands for proven quality. Since 2010, he has held a permanent position among the top positions in the WBFSH stallion rankings; in 2021, he was honoured as the best sire worldwide for young horses for the second time in a row: This stallion has made history.
The dam’s sire C-Indoctro collected successes up to international level under Ulrich Kirchhoff; more than 180 of his sons and daughters have achieved victories and placings up to advanced level. The dam Maraminka’s own achievements are also worthy of special mention. Under the name Minka’s Diamond, she was successful with Emile Tacken on the international stage up to Nations Cup level. In addition to Nikan’s Diamond Diamond of Minka, Enjoy Blue Diamond and Freiminka’s Blue Diamond, she produced three other offspring with international successes up to advanced level.
At the same time Nikan’s Diamond carries the blood of the Freiminka line, which makes him directly related to our internationally successful stallion Cordess.
