Cera is the dam of our first crop Hermes de Lux, Hommage de Luxe, who was licensed in Münster-Handorf in 2015. Her daughter Cleine Cera (by Cristallo I) was a finalist at the Bundeschampionat in 2013. Castero (by Cassini Royal) won silver at the Westphalian Championships in 2015 after being a finalist at the Bundeschampionat in 2014. The state premium C-Bella Hopp (by Carento) went to the final ring at the Holstein Elite Mare Show.
Cera brought us a filly by Baloutelli in 2017 and a filly by Escolar in 2019 and is in foal to Cashmere for 2021.
The sire Come One placed under Ludger Beerbaum and Ralf Schneider in the German Masters, Grand Prix of Gothenburg/SWE, Derby of Hickstead/GBR and Hamburg Jumping Derby as well as from 1997 with Her Royal Highness Princess Haya of Jordan at the CHIO Aachen. The winner of the Nuremberg Burg Cup, Comic FRH, stands out among his eight licensed sons.
The dam Pretty Cera produced Echo of Light, who was successful in international show jumping under John Whitaker/GBR. Quite Cera (by Quite Capitol) and Chardonnay (by Cero I) placed in advanced (S) level show jumping competitions.
The dam’s sire Contender is one of the most influential stallions in Holstein breeding with almost 130 licensed sons. His sporting offspring, including Checkmate/Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum, Chiara/Ludger Beerbaum and double European Champion Montender/Marco Kutscher, earned over 9.3 million Euros in the show jumping ring.
The granddam Kleine Cera produced several top show jumpers when mated to different stallions: Zera (by Cero I)/Pato Muente/SLO, Barack do Santo Antonio (by Baloubet du Rouet)/Rodrigo Ullmann Teixeira Lima/BRA, Capriccio (by Come On)/Uwe Schmitz and the Olympic participant Ornellaia (by For Pleasure)/John Whitaker/GBR.
In the third generation is Calato (by Capitol I), who placed in the Bundeschampionat Final in 1993 under Herbert Blöcker and later went on to great success with the Danish young rider Jennifer Foghd Pedersens. More than 20 of his sons were licensed. Of the 3.2 million Euros in winnings of his offspring, the three-time European Champion Cöster/Christian Ahlmann alone accounts for 1.4 million Euros.
The great-granddam is none other than the Team Olympic Champion and World Championship individual bronze medallist Fein Cera/Peter Wylde/USA, who achieved numerous other successes. Her son Feinest (by Ustinov) rides internationally under Janne-Friederike Meyer. ByCeraD’Ick (by Stakkato), born in 2011, was licensed by the AES.
The German Champion and winner of the Grand Prix of Aachen, Cera I/Otto Becker, as well as the licensed stallions Lacapo, Der kleine Lord, Cero I/Francois Mathy jr./BEL and Danny McGlynn/GBR and Cero II also come from the Sarbit line (3615), which is maintained by Harm Thormählen.
