Carento

History

Carento was licensed for Westphalia and Holstein in 2009. He completed his stallion performance test in Neustadt/D. in 2010 with an overall score of 8.39, whereby he received an 8.49 in jumping and an 8.13 in dressage.

He began his show jumping career in 2010 under Henrik von Eckermann/SWE with placings in A** and L-level tests for young show jumpers. In 2011 and 2012 numerous victories and high placings followed in tests for young show jumpers up to M** level, including seventh place at the Bundeschampionat for five-year-old show jumpers. In 2012 he was again in the final of the Bundeschampionat for six-year-old show jumpers.

Carento, who produced two licensed stallions from his numerically very small first crop with Caressini and Caraldik, is the two years younger full brother to Gut Neuenhof’s Cantate, who recorded more than 30 victories and placings in tests for young show jumpers, including fifth place at the 2010 Bundeschampionat for six-year-old show jumpers in Warendorf.

In the meantime, Carento was sold to the USA, but his offspring still let their father be with us. They inspire us every day anew…
