Progenies

Caressini’s offspring inspire with good growth, modern type, good riding qualities and a high degree of jumping ability. His eldest sons and daughters, six-year-olds last season, collected countless placings in tests for young show jumpers and will make their first starts in the advanced class in 2024. The three-year-old Capri by Caressini out of a Diacontinus dam was the celebrated reserve winner of her ring at the Herwart von der Decken Show in 2023 and one of the Hanoverian Verband’s best jumping mares of the year. With Carresano, Caressini has also already produced a licensed son.

"Caressini combines willingness to perform and quality par excellence. He not only passes on his high rideability values to his offspring, but also outstanding jumping ability."
- Dr. Axel Schürner

This stallion simply always wants to please: Caressini is a beaming man through and through. Caressini's victory in the final of the 2015 Bundeschampionat in particular made him an exceptional stallion; he was awarded the dream scores of 9.1 and 9.4 for his absolutely confident manner at the jump and on the course. This paved his way into higher sport: the Carento son is now successful himself up to the highest class. His eldest sons and daughters are now seven years old and have already enjoyed countless successes in show jumping competitions in recent years. The first starts of the Caressini offspring in the advanced (S) level are now eagerly awaited.

Offspring with the best interior

Good growth, willingness to perform, ability and an uncomplicated temperament: Caressini reliably passes these qualities on to his offspring. With Carresano, a Caressini son out of a Landor S dam, Caressini has already become a stallion sire; as recently as 2023, the three-year-old Capri by Caressini out of a Diacontinus dam was also one of the Hanoverian Verband's best jumping mares of the year as the celebrated reserve winner of her ring at the Herwart von der Decken Show.

Sire with a modern look

With Caressini, we are presenting a child from our own family, as he himself was once born in the local kennel in Nideggen. He thus follows in the tradition of his sire Carento and his highly decorated dam U-Cassina, who was not only a two-time stallion dam, but also produced two final ring mares and received a brilliant score of 9.5 for her rideability and free jumping at her own mare performance test. Caressini is a descendant of the traditional 2004 Holstein line, which is responsible for more than 40 licensed stallions to date. With his genetics secured over generations and the triple bloodline of the legendary Cor de la Bryere xx, he is recommended as a reliable sire with a modern look.

Achievements

Westphalian bred and purely Holstein bred, Caressini embodies all the performance and nobility attributes of Holstein performance breeding: Outstanding type conformation, the same applies to canter and jumping ability. Caressini advanced to national and Westphalian show jumping champion under Christian Kukuk in 2015 with dream marks. In the Warendorf final, the extremely sporty gray stallion was awarded the dream marks of 9.1 and 9.4 for his confident appearance, perfect rideability and boundless jumping ability. As a six-year-old, Caressini won several Bundeschampionat qualifiers; in the meantime, the experienced athlete has achieved success in international advanced (S**) level show jumping competitions.

Ancestry

The sire Carento, a son of the famous Caretino, has sired the latter Holstein import of the century three times via Contender-Lorenz-Cor de la Bryère. Out of a full sister to the Carento dam Novice, who herself produced the Bundeschampionat fifth-placed Gut Neuenhof’s Cantate, the seven-year-old Capriole, who already placed in advanced (S) level, and the 2010 Westphalian show jumping champion mare, Cristalies, comes the 1.1 million OS show jumping winner Le Champ Ask.

In 2011 Carento placed seventh at the Bundeschampionat for five-year-old show jumpers and in 2012, after finishing fourth and eighth in the qualifiers, he was once again in the final. He then continued his career in the USA. Only used sporadically in breeding, he sired two other licensed sons in addition to Caressini: the 2015 Vice Westphalian Champion, Cariscar, and Caraldik, who was already successful in eventing under Jens Hoffrogge and qualified for the Bundeschampionat. Carento’s Westphalian registered daughter Bella Hopp placed in the final ring of the Holsteiner Elite Mare Show.

Dam U-Cassina was not only a two-time stallion dam, but also produced two final ring mares and once received a fantastic score of 9.5 for her rideability and free jumping at her own mare test. Caressini comes from the traditional Holstein line of 2004, which is responsible for more than 40 licensed stallions to date.
