A stallion career like a fairytale, numerous award-winning sons and daughters, victories up to advanced level and a place among the top 1 percent of the FN dressage breeding value assessment: Goldberg's successes speak for themselves. What makes this stallion special, however, is his uncomplicated character. Ready to perform, let loose and always easy to handle - that's Goldberg. And so are his descendants!

If asked about Goldberg, trainer Hubertus Schmidt says: “He shows himself to be just as willing to work and with strong nerves at the tournament as in his daily work.” Schmidt attests to the meanwhile winning at German S-level stallion "all possibilities". The first Grand Prix starts are planned for 2021. On the way to the highest dressage level Goldberg shows no weaknesses; his basic gaits and rideability are just as outstanding as his talent for the most difficult Grand Prix-movements: piaffe and passage. He also passes this quality on to his sons and daughters. Among them are numerous premium foals and mares as well as ten licensed sons - including Gaitano, winner of the ‘Sporttest’ 2019 in Münster-Handorf.

With his sire Amazing Star, who has been successful internationally up to Grand Prix, Goldberg not only has ultra-modern Dutch blood, he also comes from a reliable mare line, the Dutch Mareline 166. Best blood from Oldenburg and Hanover complete his pedigree.

Ancastry

The sire Amazing Star, internationally successful up to Grand Prix for Japan under Takayoshi Makino, has bred the heroic sires Flemmingh, Ferro and Donnerhall, who all played an important role in the international dressage sport.

The mother, who was successful in sport herself, elite mare Whoopy Goldberg, delivered Coco Chanel, who was victorious up to Intermédiaire I.

The black dam sire San Remo brings the very best blood from Hanover and Oldenburg via Wolkentanz I and Volturno, guarantors for rideability and performance. Proven show jumping horse makers like Akteur and Lucky Boy xx in the later generations are indicators of strength and motor. Goldberg represents the "NL-merrielijn 166".

This mare line mainly results in horses with a tendency to dressage up to advanced classes.
